Education Connection

Within 24 hours of giving Education Connection my phone number and email address in order to be matched with schools I received 14 SPAM calls advertising various services and contests. In addition to the spam calls I also received a text message from raymondbmaassenuq3609@***.com with a link to cerreal.us which brought me to a *** site.

To be fair, I did receive a few texts and automated calls from educational institutions, but that does NOT excuse the ridiculous number of spam calls for non-educational services and the text message with a link to an obscene website. Shame on you Education Connection!!

Know longer interested and I don't want the calls all day

Because i was looking for grants for education not for schools they force you to have a school call you or email you and i dont want it just wamted a grant to help me while i am in school. Already have a school I will be attending.

I called for information today - about 3 hours ago. As soon as I hung up with their rep, I immediately got a call labeled Scam Likely, but I answered anyway (assuming it was from them) - no one was there and then the phone disconnected. This has happened 6 times since.

I am already enrolled in college, I have my degree chosen. The problem, there is no click for wildlife biology or any biology program to sign up for scholarships.

The next thing is when I put undecided and after I click that I am attending college already, I'll still get calls about going to a school of their choice. I know what I am doing and I know what I want to do, I am not switching school, because only a handful of schools offer what I want to do and I am attending the only school in my area that offers my degree program. This is and of itself is frustrating, they call and I explain, I am attending school, then they ask about next semester?

I say, no I am going to school full time in the summer, I am good. geeze, read the applications please.

I get calls 1-2 times a day for past 3 weeks. Theyve been told to stop as i never asked for idiots to call.

Wont take no for answer. Worst than the dinner time telemarketers

People who are wanting make a serious decision about returning to academics do not want to see a bunch of 30+ "actors" rapping about your service. Change your gameplan.

My husband was filling out job applications online when education connection pops up and wont go away. He was forced to fill out the education connection ad just to get back to the application for a real job!It has been 2 years and still they call.

What part of NO dont these people not understand. I literally changed my phone number to get it to stop.

And could someone please stop those *** singing or white women badly rapping off tv. I am so tired of hitting the mute button.

i would just like to say that i signed up for your website in hopes to find some information for scholarship opportunities. someone called me right away which was great, as soon as i told the man that i was already a college student he hung up on me.

i thought that was very rude. if he could not help me, he should have simply said he was sorry. i tried to call back and no one answered the phone. when i googled scholarships your site was the first to pop up.

maybe your advertisement is just wrong. I'm pissed off at that fact that it seemed like the man was interested in helping me but he just hung up like ok?

These people literally call me from so many different numbers and blow up my phone even after I have told them to stop so many times. Received about 25 calls today in the span of 3 hours while at work. Ridiculous.

Worst college finder website ever!

All it did was asked for my major and address and matched me up with a school in Phoenix (I live in Ohio). Didn't ask any questions on what type of schools I like or my budget for school.

Really annoyed because they gave my information to that Arizona school and now they're going to be sending me ***.

I actually tried out this...company, and one of the first things they asked AFTER asking what field of study I was interested in [Electrical/Mechanical engineering] they asked what I would take as a second, in the case that was unavailable. Not a completely unreasonable request, but a little odd that a group claiming to be affiliated with schools nation wide could not find such a popular and common field.

They ended up transferring my call to an online-only school that offered degrees in technology, but NOTHING in engineering.

So after going through the general rigmarole [careful not to give any too specific information, of course] they had "matched" me with a school completely unrelated to my interests. I highly recommend avoiding this group, do your own research, and contact schools you are interested in yourself.
